Working Lands Enterprise Board Meetings & Business

Board Members

The Working Lands Enterprise initiative, Act 142, created the Working Lands Enterprise Fund (WLEF) and the Working Lands Enterprise Board (WLEB)

WLEB is made up of private sector members throughout the supply chains of agriculture and forestry, and staff from the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation, Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development, Vermont Housing Conservation Board, Vermont Economic Development Authority, and Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund.

In 2015, amendments to legislation increased the size of the Working Lands Enterprise Board to 20 members and added a policy role.

Please direct questions about WLEB to Clare Salerno, Working Lands Program Coordinator: Clare.Salerno@vermont.gov or 802-917-2637.

Board Meetings

WLEB meets on the third Tuesday of the month in the afternoon via Microsoft Teams. On some occasions, board meetings are moved to the second or fourth Tuesday of the month to ensure timely grant decisions. WLEB does not usually meet in the month of July. The June and August meetings are usually full or half day in person symposiums dedicated to strategic learning and planning for the upcoming fiscal year funding opportunities.
