Working Lands Enterprise Board Announces the Release of Available Poultry Processing Grant Funds

The Working Lands Enterprise Board announces the availability of $40,000 in grant funds for investment into VT poultry processing projects. The poultry processing funds are the proceeds from the sale of the state owned mobile poultry processing unit to be reinvested in VT’s poultry processing sector. Applications received must be for the construction of a mobile or fixed, commercially inspected (state or federal) poultry slaughter and/or processing facility. With strong justification, a mobile facility operating under the 20,000 bird exemption would be considered.
